Story
The story begins what I think it is one of the best scenes and one of the most exciting, where we see a Young All Might saving people from a bunch of bank robbers, in what is suppose to be Las Vegas, is here where we are introduce to one of the All Might old friends Dave Shield with a awesome car, during this scene I found fascinating that we were seeing something new and introducing new concepts to All Might backstory, before he become the beacon of light in Japan.

Izuku Midoriya and All Might |
But all of that is cut short, because we brought back to the future, were we see old All Might with Midoriya, were our old hero was invited to an event in I-Island and he brought Midoriya with him, but during that we are put to a halt and where see old flashbacks of Midoriya during season one, I thought that these flashbacks were unnecessary because if you are watching this movie you probably have a concept of what are you in for. After that there's a bit of exposition about the security of the island since as good as Tartarus. But is here we get introduce to the villains who actually got in with the help of somebody inside. After this scenes and some comedy scenes with All Might, we are introduce to Melissa Shield daughter of All Might old friend, I kinda enjoy this character she not annoying and her motivation is appropriated to to what she wants to do which is being a inventor to help heroes like her father.

Melissa Shield |
The next scene we see is Dave with is assistant Sam, when Melissa brings All Might with Midoriya, this is a small scene, but I would love more to follow this relationship rolling with All Might and Dave than follow the kids around. Why? It's easy because we are introduce the the 1-A students, and the convoluted ways of how they got there, that's what bothers me the most with this movie, is the cast, there's too many characters for such shallow story and this value time could be spend in somewhere else like the friendship of All Might and Dave or even Melissa and Midoriya and how parallels with All Might but instead we are subject to fan service. After a afternoon of shenanigans in the same day we have a ball and has well we are introduced to the Deux ex Machina, that is the Full Gauntlet that allows for the user who as for example the same powers as All Might and helps resist three full power punches. This scenes allows to all the students arriving late, and has the same time we get the villains making hostage of the people that are at the ball including All Might. This now becomes Die Hard movie, but the problem with here is that we have a enoumers cast and a lame villain that doesn't really make the cut really, could be my distraction but I don't remember his name I just know he controls metal.

Midoriya with Full Gauntlet |
After some grandiose action scenes with Shoto Todoroki and Bakugo Katsuki, and many others, our students release the hostage, but before they release them, we get the twist that Dave with the help of Sam contract the villain to save their research(That was an power amplifying), that was meant for All Might, because he was losing his powers, while cliché I really couldn't connect with what Dave wanted to do even showing flashbacks to their past. But after Sam betrayed Dave and same was betrayed by the villain. While villain runs away while Dave is hostage, while Midoriya couldn't get save him after their many attempts we get a specular scene with All Might saving him.

Part of the cast |
This is when he get to the final part of the movie, the villain use the the tool to become a enormous metal monster, since he can control metal, after we see All Might fight and winning the first part of the fight we discover that the same villain has a second quirk that was given by All for One, which I found inappropriate, because it made the villain more shallow, then what already was. What I found it really impressive was the final action scene with Midoriya and All Might, as a long time fan of the manga it was really awesome to see, the two of them tag teaming.

After this we everyone happy, Dave is arrested because he contracted the villains, and then everyone of the students get a barbecue treatment from All Might.

Direction/Animation

The Villain |
The direction is pretty standard for a anime Shonen Jump movie they invested the most quality of the animation on the action scenes, the CG doesn't fit with the animation what bother me the most were the security robots, but isn't really that bad, I found it a little lazy of they using the the animation of the first season on this movie. There's many still shots of the characters talking, to save animation, the I-Island while beautiful during the day, the night scenes weren't that good, besides the fight scenes this could be a standard filler arc.
Music
The music besides the All You Can Run during the All Might and Midoriya tag team arc and All for One, is the standard and of the show. Nothing really great for people to buy the soundtrack of the movie.

Barbecue scene |
As much I complain about the movie, the movie is not bad I seen worse Shonen Jump movies with worse plot, if they wanted introduce this to the canon of the show, I wouldn't recommend it, because it creates a lot of continuity problems. I actually enjoy, the action scenes and All Might past and some of the Fan service, but isn't really a movie for anyone besides a fan. If they had introduce a better villain and reduce the cast more it could be a great movie.
