Dragon Ball Super Chapter 41 Review

This month of Dragon Ball Super manga was surprisingly good I might say. Compare to 3 chapters ago.

So we continue with our Goku vs Jiren fight, and has our hero awakes the Omen portion of Ultra Instinct(UI), we jump straight to battle mode, I say that the anime had more impact that this version, because it had more time teasing it, and now with the manga being in rush mode because of the new movie, that will be release this year, but the with Omen portion, we have some decent action choreography, better then Gohan vs Kefla, since we barely saw anything from that fight at all.

But what is really surprising is that the appearance of UI doesn't have epic feeling that the anime did so well, and is really short I wish that would be more of it and see what UI is capable of. There some difference has well, for example in Jiren backstory I can say for me is quite good, it give more to his character actually, he doesn't become this strength obsess character that goes to the extreme to get power because he fail to defeat the guy who kill his parents and master, but because he fail to be recognise by is master, here he doesn't have that tragic backstory, but that's fine not all characters need tragic backstories to be cool.

Now the for the end of this chapter we have Goku and Vegeta tag teaming to beat Jiren, oh did I mention that UI was extremely short this chapter, it is really enjoyable to see these two fighting together actually and not be fused together The dialogue that they give to Vegeta is awesome by the way.

About other stuff the art here is solid, nothing unremarkable or bad per say, UI looks good, Jiren is very well draw and we can see what happening with the action scenes, the pacing has I mention before was very fast, and is quite a detriment to this series and this arc in general.

So my final thoughts are that this arc is quite rushed, and not very well adapted from Toriyama script, but since the anime isn't has well quite good, it leaves us a thinking, what the Original author script would be. But both sure have their moments, in all this is better then the past 2 or 3 chapter that happen.

But in the end I was enjoying reading it.
